Our Three Focus Areas

The Center for Biomedical Engineering at UNC Charlotte conducts research in multidisciplinary areas such as Medical Therapies and Technologies, Molecular Engineering and Design, and Biomechanics and Mobility Research.

Recently the focus areas of our Center have been consolidated into 3 to respond to the research needs and interests of our CBES researchers.

FRET measurements using computational simulation.

Dr. Chris Yengo from the Biology Department and Dr.
Donald Jacobs are collaborating on interpreting the Fluorescence Resonance Energy Transfer (FRET) measurements using computational simulation.
